In a delightful celebration of flavors and community spirit, the JSDD Foodie Retreat Fundraiser Event emerged as a culinary triumph, leaving participants with satisfied taste buds and warm hearts.
JSDD welcomed renowned pastry chef Ridhima of Sweet Kneads in Livingston who shared her culinary expertise with enthusiastic participants. As the delectable aromas filled the air, everyone was treated to a unique blend of gastronomic delights while learning how to make a savory stuffed green pepper with Indian spices and two delicious miniature dessert shooters.
The event brought together food enthusiasts who learnt about the important work JSDD does every day while securing vital funding for JSDD’s WAE Center. The generosity of the Event Sponsors, Village ShopRite and Sunrise ShopRite ensured the event was a success and contributed to JSDD’s ongoing efforts to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
