For the third year in a row, JSDD residents and WAE Center members came together for an afternoon of music, laughter, and pure joy at the annual Prom. The event was nothing short of magical, creating lasting memories for all who attended.
From the moment guests arrived at Richfield Regency in Verona, NJ, the excitement was palpable. Dressed in their finest attire, attendees danced the afternoon away, celebrating friendship, community, and self-expression. The music set the perfect mood, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty.

This special event would not have been possible without the dedication of JSDD’s incredible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Managers, who went above and beyond to help residents get primped for the festivities. From helping to select the perfect outfit to styling hair and accessories, they ensured that every attendee felt like a star!

A heartfelt thank you also goes to JSDD’s Director of Nursing, Jennifer Fay for the thoughtful planning and coordination that brought this event to life. Her commitment to ensuring a joyful, safe, and seamless experience was felt in every detail.
The Third Annual Prom was more than just a dance—it was a celebration of inclusion, confidence, and the power of shared experiences. As we look forward to next year, we cherish the unforgettable moments and the joy that radiated from every smile.
