PRIDE-FULL

Pride-full is the first Heidi Gallery exhibition to be held during the month of June.

The gallery is seeking works of art which celebrate identity, inclusivity and love in all their guises.

Free Submissions and Open to the public.
Submissions (maximum 3) are to be emailed as attachments to HeidiGallery@jsdd.org.

Submission Guidelines

Categories:

2D Work, 3D Work, Floor Installation

Entry Instructions:

1-3 images ( 3 pieces maximum)
All mediums accepted including videos and installations
Three views of 3D work will be accepted
For JPEG file format images. Files should be a minimum size of 1600 pixels on the longest side. Digital images should be cropped to show only your artwork. If edges are irregular, it is best to photograph against a black background.
Submit work that will be available for the duration of the exhibition.
ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTITUTIONS will be accepted after selections are finalized.
No gicleé reproductions of original art accepted.
All work should be dated and produced in the last three years.
ALL WORK MUST BE FOR SALE

Specifications:

2D work: Maximum of 36in wide x 36in high, not to exceed 30lbs.
ALL WALL HUNG ART MUST BE PROPERLY WIRED FOR HANGING; no saw-tooth hangers.
Stretched canvas may have finished painted edges or strip framing. No large decorative frames. Gallery format framing preferred.
3D Work: not to exceed two (2) feet in any direction. Artists may be asked to supply their own pedestals, if necessary.
Floor installation: Maximum 4ft square, not to exceed 50lbs.
Work not conforming to submission requirements will be rejected.

LIABILITY

The JSDD WAE Center Heidi Gallery (“Gallery”) does not provide insurance for theft, loss, or damage of artwork while artwork is on the premises or in transit. Artists must provide their own insurance. The Gallery will make every possible effort to handle all artwork with care and respect.

SALES

Heidi Gallery retains 40% commission on the listed retail sales price. Artist to receive 60% of sold work.

USAGE OF IMAGES

The Gallery reserves the right to photograph and use accepted work for documentation, website, publicity, social media, or catalog purposes.

Social Media

Please include ALL social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and website if available.

AGREEMENT

Entering your work in this exhibition constitutes your acceptance of all the requirements set forth in the call details above.

Synesthesia and Sound Performance

June 8, 2025, 2-4pm

Witness the connection between sound and art.

Synesthesia. Noun: the production of a sense impression relating to one sense of the body by stimulation of another sense of the body.

Come and join Helena Chywski, an artist who experiences various types of Synesthesia, accompanied by musicians Porl Gordon on keyboards, and Jen Rondeau playing the theremin, for a truly unique performance at Heidi Gallery.

Gordon and Rondeau will perform original music while Chywski, who sees sound as colors, will live paint at the same time.

Closing Artist Walk & Talk

June 29, 2025, 2-4pm
