JSDD celebrated another year of growth in Residential Services, WAE Center, Therapeutic Services, Life | Home | Tech and Heidi Gallery programming. At the heart of this success is our extraordinary staff, whose passion and dedication make all of this work possible.
As has become the tradition, two holiday parties were held. One evening party for WAE Center Staff, Therapeutic Services, Heidi Gallery and Life | Home | Tech staffers and the other for the Residential Team providing everyone an opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy one another’s company. The atmosphere was festive and filled with warmth, delicious food, music, and plenty of laughter during holiday-themed games and photo ops.
One of the highlights of the daytime Residential Party was the much-anticipated gift exchange, thoughtfully organized by Jennifer Fay, Director of Nursing. This year’s exchange was the biggest yet. Each house worked together to create beautifully themed gift baskets. From gourmet baskets brimming with pasta to spa baskets filled with soothing lotions, each one was a testament to the creativity and care that defines our community.
Executive Director Linda Press addressed both groups, sharing heartfelt gratitude for the staff’s tireless dedication to the individuals JSDD serves. She also recognized the many milestones reached by the staff, reflecting on their unwavering commitment and the impact of their work over the years.
The celebrations were not just about marking the holidays—they were a tribute to the unity, compassion, and joy that have driven JSDD forward. Together, we look ahead to another year of growth and shared purpose, inspired by the accomplishments of the past and the limitless potential of the future.
