JSDD: Life | Home | Tech (LHT) uses technology solutions to support individuals in achieving goals and optimizing daily routines. This allows for a greater level of independence and an improved quality of life.
Using a person-centered approach with a focus on the specific needs and wants of each individual, this technology is being integrated into residential settings.
JSDD is working with the broader community to educate and inform the public about the growing uses of technology in pioneering possibilities for self-sufficiency and joyful living.
Since 2023, this pilot program has been working with partner agencies to assess needs and integrate technology in the lives of participants. In the fall of 2024, the focus has expanded to include improving independence and quality of life for older adults. JSDD continues to broaden the scope of Life | Home | Tech and move beyond traditional service models, positioning itself to directly implement cutting edge life enhancing technology.
