Hagit Oren, Judaic Coordinator held a Zoom Chavurah class on Sunday, May 17, 2020. All the participants enjoyed a virtual tour around two ports in Israel – Jaffo and Caesarea. Hagit taught them about the holiday of Shavuot and one of the Ten Commandments to respect our parents and grandparents. Stacy, a participant shared she loves her grandfather and has respect for him. Music was played in Hebrew and English and those listening told Hagit they enjoy listening to music. A discussion was had about the importance of being part of the community and how we can be kind to others.
Everyone said the class was fun, educational and interactive!
